Special Education

Overcoming Frontiers in Colombia is working to give oportunities to special education children. The free special education programs directed to the lower income comunity are very scare. This program is developed to the lower income special education children within the comunity, to improve and gain new skills that without this program will not have any other alternative to improve their life quality. However, it is clear the efforts and followup programs are needed; these to give subsequent employment options to succeed as children, adolocents, and young adults with the potential for better quality of life .

At Overcoming Frontiers is clear that accessing special education programs do not guarantee access to different employment opportunities, therefore efforts must be expanded, and special education programs broaden towards learning other skills so children will have more opportunities within individual ,social and professional areas. As a partner, any private entity can help to perform a social responsibility action , and any natural or legal person can join Overcoming Frontiers´ special education projects. This partnership consists of donating resources to finance most of these special education programs.
